Yamatogawa Sake Brewery is a sake manufacturer located in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture. Yamatogawa Sake Brewery has been making sake for nine generations since its establishment in 1790, in the middle of the Edo period. Using the clear, limpid water from Mt. Iide as brewing water, the brewery has been producing excellent sake such as “Yaemon” with the single-minded devotion of generations of toji (master sake brewers). Yamatogawa Sake Brewery offers museum tours, tastings, and an online store.
